Before leaving, they sent their final report to Santa🎅… and we’re happy to share that MOVTI made the nice list! 📋✔️
Thank you for welcoming our little holiday helpers into your classrooms, shops, and offices this season. They had a blast learning about our programs, spreading cheer, and keeping an eye on everyone’s hard work.
Safe travels, Mistletoe and Max and Merry Christmas from all of us at MOVTI! ✨🎄

“Red sky at night, shepherds’ delight; red sky in the morning, shepherds take warning.” 🌅😄
Meanwhile, Mistletoe (aka Mrs. Bunch) skipped the folklore and checked the actual Christmas Eve forecast on her laptop. 💻❄️
Old sayings vs. modern tech… we’ll see who’s right! 😉

Max caught up on the “news” while enjoying his cup, and Mistletoe took a well-deserved seat to sip and relax. Even elves know a good day starts with coffee!

Mistletoe was clearly in charge of quality control (from the toolbox, of course), while Max took over the touchscreen like a seasoned technician.
If anything ends up perfectly aligned tomorrow… we’ll just assume the elves had something to do with it. 😉

From festive decorations to tiny holiday trees, these elves proved that creativity and technology go hand in hand. Safe to say the North Pole would definitely approve of this setup! 🎅🎁

Each program was challenged to collect the most donated items per student in the program and all donations were split evenly and will be distributed to food pantries across the four counties served by MOVTI.
Thank you to all the students who participated and helped make a positive impact in our communities!

Last week, MOVTI’s graphic design and multimedia students had the pleasure of welcoming Jared Thompson, Professor of Digital Media Design at West Liberty University!
Jared spent time reviewing WLU's program offerings before leading a fun, hands-on activity with each group. Our multimedia students especially enjoyed participating in a light painting portraiture activity and the results were absolutely amazing!
Thank you, Jared, for sharing your expertise and creativity with our students!

Mistletoe carefully examined the parts like a seasoned IT pro, while Max grabbed the screwdriver and went straight to work. Whether they’re upgrading RAM or just seeing what happens when you push buttons… these elves are fully committed to hands-on learning! 🔧💻
Let’s just hope they can manage to put it back together correctly...

Even the busiest elves need a little rest after spreading holiday cheer (and chaos). Don’t worry… they’ll be back on the job in the next program soon! 🎄✨

Mistletoe monitored the screen like a professional door attendant, while Max stood outside striking poses for the camera. 😂🎄
Don’t worry… they didn’t let anyone in without proper ID. 😉

🎄✨ Max went full Clark W. "Sparky" Griswold, Jr. today as he bravely tackled the Christmas lights on the MOVTI tree - all 10,000 of them. Mistletoe supervised just in case things got electrifying.😆
When the lights finally kicked on, Mistletoe proudly declared:
“It’s a beaut, Clark. It’s a BEAUT.”
Current holiday spirit level: Griswold.

Because MOVTI serves Pleasants, Ritchie, Tyler, and Wetzel Counties, schedules can vary by closing type and reason. Please see the infographic to learn how we operate during weather and emergency situations.

Health Science students had an amazing experience at the Discover Day! - Medical Careers at the Washington County Career Center on December 5th!
They explored the facility, jumped into hands-on skill demonstrations, tested real healthcare equipment, and connected directly with industry professionals. It was an energizing day of learning, discovery, and future career inspiration!
Thank you to WCCC for this amazing opportunity!

Today’s models? Their loyal GI Joe friends, fully decked out in holiday spirit. 🎄
Mistletoe took charge of the creative direction (naturally), while Max handled the studio lights. Together, they set up the perfect winter scene and captured some truly elf-worthy holiday magic.✨📷

She wasted no time getting him bandaged up, propped on a tiny hospital bed, and stocked with holiday-themed Band-Aids!
Max is resting comfortably (though he might be milking the situation just a bit 🤭), and Mistletoe is proving she’s a natural in the health sciences program.
Don’t worry, with a little TLC, he’ll be back to mischief in no time...

The two decided tape measures made the perfect climbing ropes, but Max quickly learned an important lesson: when you’re working at “elf-height,” you definitely should be wearing a harness!
Stay tuned… something tells us he might be making a visit to another program for a check-up soon! ✨
