William Campbell (RC) received his CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications. The A+ is an industry certification for computer repair and troubleshooting. The Network+ is an industry Certification for Networking. Both of these certifications are great accomplishments!
Tracey White and Beverly Renner from Tyler County Search and Rescue trained Law & Public Safety Students, over 4 sessions, to test for their SARTECH III certification. The training included classroom and some hands-on activities including using a compass.
Congratulations to PLTW student, Brady Rinard. He completed all requirements for his OSHA-10. 🥳
Mrs. Redin’s Grow Your Own students have been learning all about Growth Mindset! They created some awesome posters to show what it means to keep trying, learn from mistakes, and stay positive when things get tough. Such a cool and creative way to share what they’ve learned!

Linsie is heading to West Virginia Wesleyan in the fall to pursue a degree in graphic design and minor in education and Evony is heading to WVU to study Digital Art and Animation.
Exciting hands-on learning at MOVTI! Our Biology 107 students recently dissected rats as part of their anatomy studies. This immersive experience helped them better understand the complexities of the body and brought their classroom lessons to life.
So, what IS a touch-a-truck?
🚚A Touch-a-Truck event is a fun, hands-on experience where kids get to explore and interact with all kinds of cool vehicles. They can climb in, honk horns, and see these machines up close. It’s a great way to spark imagination, learn about different vehicles, and just have fun! 🚒🚓

Bree Carr, Jessica Martinez and Samantha Winland from Westbrook Health Services talked to Law & Public Safety students about mental health issues they might encounter on the job and how to take care of their own mental health in a high stress career field.

Awards are in the Feaster Center (number 8 on map) but parking is in the parking garage (number 16 on map). They will be running a shuttle to the top of the hill and parking by the Feaster Center will be reserved for handicapped individuals.
Please allow yourself enough time tonight. Awards start at 6!
Seating chart is attached too. MOVTI students will sit in our reserved section while parents may sit in the public seating only.
Also, They will be offering concessions throughout the ceremony.
